Hakka Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that focuses on education and cultural services. As Hakka Foundation’s scholarship program, Writers' Square encourages and inspires students to lead a meaningful life by:

  • Exploring their ideas and interests about culture, identity, and social issues.

  • Developing their writing skills, self-expression, confidence, and personal potential.

  • Communicate clearly, compellingly, and maturely with their families, teachers, and peers.

  • Promoting a creative atmosphere in their daily lives and school campuses.

Writers’ Square contests offer scholarships to all enrolled students from first grade through college.
